So Green & So Clean began in the spring of 2023 when three high school sophomores started a small pressure washing business together. At first, it was simply a way to make extra money to support their hobbies and everyday necessities. After about a month, the group went their separate ways, but Grey Barker, the current CEO, never let go of the vision.

In the spring of 2024, Grey invested in new equipment and began his door-to-door journey, going neighborhood to neighborhood and speaking with as many people as possible. That year proved to be a major success, and he saw potential in the business that nobody else could see at the time.

Heading into year three, Grey made even larger investments and hit the ground running by expanding the company’s services to include landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal. After graduating from Eagleville High School in May of 2025, he originally planned to attend Middle Tennessee State University that fall. However, on July 16th, he made the life-changing decision to tell his parents he would not be attending school so he could fully pursue his dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

Following that decision, Grey continued growing his name throughout the Middle Tennessee landscaping industry while expanding his knowledge in more advanced landscaping services, including irrigation, landscape lighting, and hardscaping installations. Today, Grey works with multiple builders throughout the Middle Tennessee area and continues to grow So Green & So Clean every day.

With big goals, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the industry, he has no plans of slowing down. What began as a small high school side business has grown into a company built on determination, quality service, and a commitment to helping homeowners, builders, and businesses keep their properties looking their best. Grey’s story is only getting started, and So Green & So Clean is ready to continue serving Middle Tennessee with reliable work, honest communication, and a drive to improve with every project.
